It is with Sadness that we report the death of Ian Ligertwood who died this morning.

Ian was co-founder of Med Imaging in 1996 and many will remember Ian for his eccentric dress sense whatever the occasion.

A brilliant engineer with his own style of work, Ian will be sadly missed by all that worked with him and the many friends he made throughout the radiology departments in the North West.

Our heartfelt condolences go to his wife Christine, and children Alastair, Catriona, Kirsty and Freddie at this extremely sad time.

Ian was unique – we will miss him.

Ian’s funeral details: 10.45am Friday 6th April at St Nicholas’s church, Blundellsands then Rainford Woodland Burial site (map below) and then on to the Park Hotel, Dunningsbridge Road for refreshments.
